Willow Smith excellently schooled her father Will on why the lyrics to Baby It’s Cold Outside are so problematic in 2018.
The Smiths were celebrating Christmas this week and gave us an
insight into how things were done in their mighty Hollywood household.
After Will showed us all the monstrous Christmas tress wife Jada had
erected in the entrance to the house, he got his kids Willow and Jaden
together to get into the holiday spirit.
First things first, Willow partook in a spot of festive karaoke, as
she attempted to sing along to Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas
Is You.
They held up cards with the lyrics to make their point (Picture: Will Smith)The
singer, 18, got into a spot of giggles which uprooted the whole track
and we can’t blame her – we can’t hit the notes either.
However, not long after Will, 50, tried to get his daughter to duet
with him, as he proposed the song Baby It’s Cold Outside, a 40s classic
that perhaps is a little more problematic now than it was back then.
Whether that’s recognised by everyone is a story for another time,
but Willow felt the need to point out the sketchy lyrics as she refused
to sing with her father.
She wasn’t having it (Picture: Will Smith)
As Will asked Willow, who was holding a camera and filming her
father, to sing, she refused and added: ‘It sounds like a bad night.’

Iggy Azalea Lyrics
The Three 6 Mafia legacy lives on.
“Freak of the Week,” the 10th track off Iggy Azalea’s new album In My Defense, is the latest song to sample or interpolate Juicy J’s “Slob on My Knob” from the past few years.
On Azalea’s song, she keeps Juicy’s classic cadence alive, rapping:
I’m bout to move straight to Candy Cane Lane, baby, give me brainDo something strange in the back of the Range
Her rhyme scheme emulates Juicy J’s flow from the original:
Juicy is my name, sex is my gameLet’s call the boys, let’s run a train
The track, which is produced by J. White Did It, also features Juicy J.
Lately, Juicy has been enjoying the fruits of his labor as a hip-hop pioneer as his work continues to inspire the new generation of rappers. Earlier this year, Three 6 Mafia’s presence was felt throughout Megan Thee Stallion’s debut album Fever, with Juicy J producing and featuring on a handful of the tracks.
In 2017, “Slob on My Knob” was revitalized on A$AP Ferg’s Plain Jane, as well as G-Eazy’s No Limit. Genius previously broke down the history of the song in a video.
Juicy J originally wrote “Slob on My Knob” in an 11th-grade history class. Since then, the song has had an unforeseeable impact on hip-hop. From the classic “Yeah, hoe!” ad-lib (which also appears on Iggy’s new song) to their signature distorted, lo-fi effects, Three 6’s influence is all over modern hip-hop.

Zach Williams Lyrics
Sometimes you just need a little bit of joy to get you through the day.
Jennifer
Patterson posted a video of her daughter, Loren, on Facebook showing
her singing in the church choir. The song was "Old Church Choir" by Zach
Williams. The lyrics say, "There ain't nothing gonna steal my joy."
Loren
stood up there belting out that song, feeling it her little bones. The
whole time her mother was capturing video of her wiggly girl, sharing
her unrestrained joy. Jennifer posted the video on social media with the
line, "In case you can't find her, she's the one in pink and brown."
Since that Oct. 29 post, the video has 13 million views, 252,000 plus shares and almost 100,000 likes.

"Justin Bieber"
The Pop Songs chart measures total weekly plays, as tabulated by
Nielsen Music, among its reporting panel of 167 mainstream top 40
stations.
"Care" makes history as the first Pop Songs No. 1 (among 370 since the chart's 1992 inception) credited solely to two co-billed male soloists that don't regularly record together. Still, it follows No. 1s by two male leads joined by other acts, including "Despacito" and, in March, "Eastside" by Benny Blanco, Khalid and Halsey. Two songs by three lead males have topped the tally:
"Shake Ya Tailfeather," by Nelly, P. Diddy and Murphy Lee in 2003, and "All for Love" by Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart and Sting in 1994 (a month before Bieber was born).
Bieber banks his sixth leader, following "What Do You Mean?" (two, 2015), "Sorry" (three, 2016), "Love Yourself" (five, 2016) and two tracks via featured roles, on Major Lazer's "Cold Water," also featuring MO (one, 2016), and Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito" (five, 2017).
